As reported by SQM Research, there were 1102 auctions scheduled in Sydney last week, and the clearance rate was 51.7%, with the first three weeks in October delivering an average clearance rate of 51%, the lowest of any 3-week period so far this year. Across the 2037, 2038, 2040, 2050, 2048, 2049 postcodes there were 30 auctions with a clearance rate of 53%.
In spite of these sobering statistics, our team has successfully sold all of our vendors’ properties that were scheduled for auction in September and October to date and we’re really excited about our current and upcoming listings. Of those, 184 Johnston St Annandale is proving to be the home of choice for upsizing local families, offering an abundance of accommodation with 4 bedrooms, a large home office, Tuscan inspired gardens and pool area, as well as that elusive double lock-up garage with a bonus self-contained studio above. The last time a renovated home with a pool and double garage sold in Annandale was in June 2021!
